Capital Watch: Commercial Loan Volume Could Rival 2005 Totals	By Benjamin Mark Cole

The Mortgage Bankers Association expects commercial real estate mortgage volume this year to rival the records set in 2005. During the past year, the dollar volume of loans on commercial real estate and multifamily properties surged 48% to $201.7 billion, up from $136.3 billion a year earlier.
